Hervé Furic is a French actor who has built a significant career in dubbing, bringing numerous characters to French-speaking audiences. His work spans theatre, television, film, and radio, but he is particularly recognized for his voice roles in animated series and as the regular French voice for several Hollywood actors.

Furic began his acting career in theatre, working with director Roger Blin and performing in productions such as Minamata and Co in 1978 and Triptyque at the Théâtre de l'Odéon in 1982. He has collaborated with many stage directors including Jacques Seiler, Robert Hossein, and Daniel Mesguich. In television, he played the title role in Le Mécréant in 1981, and in film, he had one of the leading roles in Éric Rohmer's Conte d'hiver released in 1992. He has also regularly participated in radio recordings for Radio France and France Culture, including portraying Thénardier in an adaptation of Victor Hugo's Les Misérables.

Within the field of anime voice acting, Furic has portrayed key characters in two notable series. He played the role of Fad in the 1998 series Cowboy Bebop. A major role in his career came in 2004 when he provided the French voice for Manzou in the series Samurai Champloo. He also contributed to animated film dubbing, creating the voice for the bandit chief in the 2004 film Les 3 Mages.

Beyond anime, Furic has established a significant practice as the recurring French voice for a number of international film actors. He is particularly known as the French voice of Robert Patrick, having dubbed him in films such as Traque à San Francisco, Red Faction: Origins, Une nouvelle chance, Gangster Squad, Secret d'État, and The Poison Rose. He also regularly provides the French voices for Gary Lewis, including in Billy Elliot, Gangs of New York, and Eragon; for Thomas Haden Church in Spider-Man 3, Easy Girl, and Spider-Man: No Way Home; for Clancy Brown in The Informant!, Freddy: Les Griffes de la nuit, and Ave, César!; and for Danny Huston in The Constant Gardener and Stan et Ollie. His consistent work for specific actors demonstrates a notable level of trust and specialization within the French dubbing industry.
