Adolfo Fenoglio is an Italian actor and voice actor known for his extensive work in dubbing foreign films, television series, and animated works for the Italian market. Born in Turin on July 11, 1936, Fenoglio began his artistic training at the school of the Piccolo Teatro di Torino in the mid-1950s. He was a founding member of the Teatro delle Dieci in 1958, a company known for introducing the works of Eugène Ionesco to Italian audiences. His stage career included performances with major theater companies in Genoa, Florence, and Milan, working under directors such as Luigi Squarzina and performing works by Luigi Pirandello, William Shakespeare, and Carlo Goldoni. In addition to his voice work, Fenoglio appeared in Italian television dramas and series, including a notable recurring role as Uncle Carlo in several programs starring Cristina D'Avena between 1988 and 1990.
Within the field of anime and animated series dubbing, Fenoglio provided Italian voices for several prominent characters. He is recognized by anime fans for his role as Lord Phos in the series Berserk. His other significant voice roles include Arles in the Italian dub of Knights of the Zodiac (also known as Saint Seiya). He also voiced the King of Hearts in an Italian adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, Hoobs in The Little Lord, Doctor Duncan in Cotton Flakes for Jeanie, and Ivan Oozee in Power Rangers: The Movie. Beyond performance, Fenoglio also directed the Italian dubbing for the film Godzilla.
