Debbie Rothstein, also known as Debbie Papenbrook, is an American voice actress with a career spanning several decades in animation and anime dubbing. Her work in the industry is extensive, with numerous credits in English-language dubs of popular Japanese anime series produced during the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Rothstein began her professional journey after receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theater in 1977, which led to extensive work as a stage actress in Central and Southern California before transitioning into on-screen and voiceover work. Her portfolio within the anime genre includes a wide range of supporting roles. She is known for providing additional voices for several acclaimed series, including Trigun, The Big O, and the film Ah My Goddess The Movie. Her other anime voice credits include roles in Nightwalker The Midnight Detective, Dual Parallel Trouble Adventure, Gate Keepers, and Hand Maid May.

In the series Mon Colle Knights, Rothstein voiced the character Spectra Angel. She also contributed to the English dub of the series Saint Tail, Zenki, and the film Sol Bianca The Legacy. Beyond anime, her voice work extended to other animated productions, including providing additional voices for the film Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman.

Outside of voice acting, Rothstein is the creator and producer of A Faery Hunt, an interactive, musical theatre company for young audiences that has received awards and recognition from publications such as the Hollywood Reporter and Los Angeles magazine. She writes, directs, composes, and performs in the company's original productions.
