Shihomi Mizowaki
Description
Shihomi Mizowaki is a Japanese voice actress born on July 31, 1970, in Nara Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent agency RME. Over the course of her career, she has also performed under the name Kinoko Yamada, as well as an earlier variation of her family name recorded as Kinoko Yamada.
Mizowaki is best known for her long-standing role as the Digimon partner Palmon across numerous installments of the Digimon Adventure franchise. Her work in this series began in the original Digimon Adventure television series in 1999, where she voiced not only Palmon but also its evolution forms Togemon and Lillymon, in addition to the pre-evolution Tanemon. She continued the role in Digimon Adventure 02 (2000) and the film Digimon Adventure: Our War Game (2000). She reprised the character years later for the Digimon Adventure tri. film series, appearing in all six chapters released between 2015 and 2018, as well as the 2020 film Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna and the 2020 television reboot Digimon Adventure:. In the tri. series, she also provided the voice for Palmon's higher evolutions such as Rosemon.
Beyond the Digimon franchise, Mizowaki has a significant recurring role in the Ojamajo Doremi series, voicing the character Kaori Shimakura in the original 1999 series as well as its sequels Ojamajo Doremi #, Mo~tto! Ojamajo Doremi, and Ojamajo Doremi DOKKAAN!. Her other notable anime roles include Jinko Komori in ItaKiss (also known as Itazura na Kiss), Naomi in Zatch Bell! and its subsequent films, Shinza in Oh! Edo Rocket, Tio in Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime, Doroa in Bakugan Battle Brawlers, and a fairy character in Humanity Has Declined.
