Sigifredo Vega was a Colombian actor whose career spanned more than forty-five years across television, theater, and voice dubbing. While he was widely recognized for his live-action roles in telenovelas such as Pasión de Gavilanes, he also built a substantial body of work as a voice actor for anime series and animated programs.

In the field of anime, Vega participated in several notable dubbing projects. He is known for providing the voice for the character Satotz in the series Hunter X Hunter, which was released in some regions under the title Cazador X. He also voiced Satán Aoi in both La guerra de Sakura and its preceding series, Sakura Taisen: Ouka Kenran. His other anime voice credits include roles in Samurái X, where he voiced multiple characters including Gohei Hiruma and Shikijo, as well as parts in Web Diver and Dinozaurs.

Beyond traditional anime, Vega lent his voice to a wide variety of animated series. His credits include roles such as Katana in Shuriken School, Gorgious Klatoo in Space Goofs, and Big Bo in Súper Strikas. He also performed voice work for more recent productions, including a role as Santa Claus in an episode of The Cuphead Show. His career in dubbing also extended into video games, where he contributed voices for projects including characters in World of Warcraft.

A native of Bogotá, he was a versatile performer who moved between live-action and voice work throughout his lengthy career. Sigifredo Vega passed away in June 2024 after a long illness.
