Julia Blankenburg is a German actress and voice actor born in Berlin in 1969. She completed her acting training at the Schauspielschule Der Kreis, also known as the Fritz-Kirchhoff-Schule, in Berlin from 1989 to 1992. Following her education, she performed at various state and city theaters, including engagements at the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater from 1993 to 1995 and as a permanent ensemble member at the GRIPS Theater in Berlin until 1999. For her performance as Lana in the play Eins auf die Fresse at the GRIPS Theater in 1996, she received the Friedrich-Luft-Preis. She has also worked extensively as a film and television actress and was part of the cast for the television film Eine Stadt wird erpresst, which received the Adolf-Grimme-Preis in 2008.
