Michèle Lituac is a French voice actress known for her work in anime dubbing. Born on August 17, 1957 in Aix-en-Provence, France, she later moved to Quebec, Canada in 2003, establishing herself as a prominent figure in French-Canadian voice acting and dialogue adaptation. Lituac began her training at the Cours Raymond Girard in Paris, where she graduated in 1976, receiving the Prix Françoise Dorléac.
Lituac is widely recognized for her dual role in the Digimon Adventure franchise. She provides the French voice for Mimi Tachikawa, one of the primary human characters, as well as the Digimon partner Tailmon, known as Gatomon in English-language versions. Her work in Digimon extends to the film Digimon, le film (2001), where she voiced Mimi, Gatomon, Angewomon, Magnadramon, and additional supporting roles. Within the Digimon series, she also voiced Mrs. Ichijouji, Nancy Takaichi, and Yuuko Kamiya.
Beyond Digimon, Lituac voiced the title role in the French-Canadian animated series Princess Sissi (1997-1998), which follows the early life of Empress Elisabeth of Bavaria. Her other anime credits include roles in Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics, where she voiced Cinderella in her second portrayal of the character, as well as The Little Girl.
Lituac's voice acting career includes significant contributions to French dubbing for animated films and Western animation. She was the first French voice of Barbie in the film series from 2001 to 2006, voicing the character in Barbie in the Nutcracker (2001), Barbie as Rapunzel (2002), Barbie of Swan Lake (2003), and Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper (2004), as well as the role of Elina in Barbie Fairytopia and Barbie Fairytopia Mermaidia. In live-action dubbing, Lituac is known as the regular French voice for actress Lisa Kudrow, most famously providing the voice of Phoebe Buffay in the series Friends. She has also dubbed actresses including Thandie Newton, Kristin Chenoweth, Zooey Deschanel, and Kerry Washington for French-language releases. Her extensive dubbing filmography includes French versions of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (as Mrs. Bucket), Peter Pan (2003) (as Tinker Bell), and Maleficent (as Flittle).
