Cody MacKenzie

Cody MacKenzie, also known as Cody A. Mackenzie, is an American voice actor recognized for his work in English-language dubs of anime films and television series during the late 1990s and early 2000s. His career includes voice contributions to several prominent anime properties that were being localized for North American audiences at that time.
MacKenzie is most notably associated with the English dub of the landmark cyberpunk film Akira, specifically the version produced by Animaze and released by Pioneer in 2001. In this adaptation, he provided the voices for two of the three gifted child subjects, Masaru and Takashi, who are identified as numbers 27 and 26 respectively. This production featured a high-profile cast including Johnny Yong Bosch, Joshua Seth, and Wendee Lee.
Beyond his work on Akira, MacKenzie contributed to other significant anime series of the era. He had a role as an orphan in the space western Cowboy Bebop and provided additional voices for the science fiction western Trigun. His additional voice work extended to the comedic film Panda!
