Jeffrey Gimble is a voice actor and performer known for his work in English-language dubs of anime productions, particularly during the late 1990s and early 2000s. In addition to his voiceover career, Gimble has extensive experience as a stage, film, and television actor, as well as a jazz vocalist.

Gimble grew up in Houston, Texas, and developed an early connection to music through his father, a saxophonist and bandleader. He graduated from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston and initially pursued musical theater, becoming a member of the Stages Repertory Theatre in Texas before relocating to New York City. His voiceover training included studies with Peter Rofe, and his broader acting studies included work with Joanna Merlin and Patsy Rodenburg. According to his professional biography, his voiceover client list has included major brands and organizations such as Verizon, Chevron, PBS, and UNICEF.

Within the anime industry, Gimble is perhaps best known for providing the English voice of the character Katan in the 2000 animated film Angel Sanctuary, based on the manga by Kaori Yuki. His other anime voice credits from the same era include roles in series such as Aika, Natural, Natural Another, Midnight Panther, Detonator Orgun, and RG Veda. In RG Veda, he voiced the character Ten-ou, and he voiced Akagi in Natural. He also performed additional voice work for the English version of the television mini-series Boudin.

In addition to his voiceover work, Gimble has a background in live-action film and theater, including stage roles in productions such as Hair and Forbidden Broadway and a role in the cult science fiction film Crimson Force. Following his time in New York, he moved to Los Angeles in 2008 and subsequently transitioned to a career as a jazz vocalist, releasing multiple albums while continuing to perform in California and Texas.
