Patrick van Balen is a Dutch voice actor and voice-over artist born on March 3, 1971, in Helmond, Netherlands. His career spans numerous animated series and films, primarily working on Dutch language dubs of international productions.

Van Balen is best known for providing the Dutch voice of Keroberos, commonly called Kero, in the anime series Cardcaptor Sakura, a role he performed from 1998 to 2000. He has a significant history with the Digimon franchise, voicing the character Tai Kamiya in the Dutch dub beginning in 2001 and continuing in the role through 2021. Other notable anime voice credits include unspecified roles in the long-running Pokémon series, the role of Terry McScotty in Battle B-Daman, and parts in Beyblade. Earlier in his career, he voiced Iggy and Lance in the series Super Big.

Beyond anime, his voice work in other animated series is extensive. He is known for voicing Leendert de Kreeft (Mr. Krabs), De Vuile Bubbel, and Scotter in the Dutch version of SpongeBob SquarePants, a role he has played from 1999 to the present.
