Vinnie Hacker is an American voice actor, social media personality, and model known for his transition from online content creation to work in anime voice acting. He first rose to prominence in 2020 through viral content on platforms such as TikTok, Twitch, and Instagram, amassing a following of over fifteen million users. Building on this early popularity, Hacker expanded his career into modeling with IMG Models, live-action television with the Netflix reality series Hype House, and brand partnerships with companies such as Crunchyroll and Riot Games.

Hacker’s entry into anime voice acting came with his first major role in the English dub of the Netflix series Sakamoto Days. In this adaptation of the manga by Yuto Suzuki, he provides the voice for Kei Uzuki, a character also known as X or Slur, who serves as a primary antagonist. The role marked a significant expansion of his creative pursuits, a field he had been passionate about since childhood after watching series such as Dragon Ball and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. He secured the part following a successful audition process, having previously tried out for another project without success. Sakamoto Days premiered in January 2025 and achieved commercial success for Netflix, spending ten consecutive weeks on the platform’s Global Top 10 TV (Non-English) list and setting a record for the highest single-week viewership for an anime on the service.

Beyond his voice work in Sakamoto Days, Hacker has deepened his involvement in the anime and manga industry by creating an original manga titled The Escape, which was released through Kodansha, the publisher known for Attack on Titan. He has also participated in anime-related events, including presenting at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards. Prior to his voice acting debut, Hacker collaborated with the anime network Crunchyroll and game developer Riot Games on various promotional partnerships. As a member of the gaming organization 100 Thieves, he has regularly streamed games such as Valorant and Apex Legends and competed in celebrity gaming tournaments. He has studied acting with coach Nancy Banks, whose previous clients include established film actors, as part of his preparation for voice and on-screen roles.
