Sumara Louise, born Sumara Louise Silva on June 24, 1949, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, was a Brazilian voice actor, dubbing director, and actress. She began her career in dubbing in 1973 at the Herbert Richers studio in Rio de Janeiro. Her first major role came in 1977 when she voiced the character Sabrina Duncan in the Brazilian Portuguese version of the television series Charlie's Angels.

One of the notable roles in her extensive voice acting career was providing the voice for the character Darkstar in the animated series The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers. In addition to this role, her work in animation and anime included voicing Freeze in the anime series Corrector Yui, Kozuru Mori in the anime Dance Dance Danseur, and the character Storm in the animated series X-Men: Evolution.

Beyond her voice roles in animation, Sumara Louise was widely recognized as the official Brazilian voice for actresses Meryl Streep and Glenn Close across numerous films. Her other significant voice credits included the Oracle in The Matrix film trilogy. She also worked as a dubbing director on several series, including Miami Vice and the Brazilian version of the series Moonlighting, in which she also voiced the lead character Maddie Hayes.

Throughout her career, Sumara Louise worked at many of the major dubbing studios in Rio de Janeiro, including Herbert Richers, VTI, Telecine, Delart, and Wan Macher. She was also active in the dubbing community, serving as the president of the National Association of Dubbing Artists, where she was honored with the title of Dame of Brazilian Dubbing for her body of work. She passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 75.
