Ruth Urquhart is an award-winning Scottish voice artist who has built a career specializing in character voices for animation and video games. A classically trained actor with a background in stage and screen, she has over a decade of experience in voiceover work and is known for being a versatile performer capable of playing characters from ages five to ninety across a wide range of accents. She has earned recognition within the anime industry for her performances.

One of Urquhart's notable achievements includes winning the SOVAS Award for Outstanding Anime: Best Female Voiceover for her role as Tock in the popular animated series RWBY, produced by Rooster Teeth. This accolade helped establish her reputation in the anime voice acting community. Her recent work in the field includes the role of Marge in the 2026 anime series Dark Moon: The Blood Altar, an English dub that was released simultaneously with the Japanese version on Crunchyroll. The production was directed by Marissa Lenti.

Beyond specific anime credits, Urquhart has voiced characters in other global animations and video games. She is the voice of Neva in the children's animated series Boonie Squad.
