Florian Knorn

Florian Knorn is a German actor and voice actor born in Berlin in December 1981. He began his acting career at a young age, with an early appearance in the 1992 film Karl May, where he portrayed a young Karl May. His voice acting career spans over three decades, and he has been active in dubbing for film, television, and streaming platforms.
Knorn is best known for his long-standing association with the Digimon franchise. He has provided the German voice for the character Taichi Yagami, also known as Tai, since the original Digimon Adventure series in 1999. He later reprised this role for subsequent installments, including Digimon Adventure tri. and the film Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, reuniting with the character many years after his initial portrayal.
A significant recent addition to his anime roles is the lead character Ranma Saotome in the 2024 Netflix remake of the classic series Ranma 1/2. In this production, he voices the male half of the titular character, taking over the role previously voiced by the late Clemens Ostermann. His other anime voice credits include the role of Jet in Avatar: The Last Airbender, Ulrich in Code Lyoko, and guest roles in Dragon Ball Z. He has also voiced Peter Pan in the animated film Peter Pan: Neue Abenteuer in Nimmerland and Masato Kamiya in the Cat's Eye remake. Beyond animation, his voice acting work includes characters in live-action series such as Angel – Jäger der Finsternis and Stargate – Kommando SG-1.
