Iris Schumacher is a German actress, singer, and voice actor whose career spans stage musicals, audiobook narration, and animation dubbing. Her professional training in acting and singing was completed in her hometown of Hamburg, Germany.

Before establishing her voiceover career, Schumacher had an extensive background in musical theatre. She was the original cast member for the role of Rosie in productions of Mamma Mia in Stuttgart, Hamburg, and Berlin. Other prominent stage credits include Hilde Schlönzke in Kein Pardon – Das Musical in Düsseldorf and Leipzig, as well as Alice Beane in Titanic at Hamburg's Neue Flora theater. Her work at the St. Pauli Theater and on tour in Germany and Switzerland included performances for which she also toured nationally with her solo program. Additionally, she has worked as a translator for musical librettos in collaboration with Frank Thannhäuser.

As a voice actor, Schumacher has provided German dubbing voices for numerous international film and television productions. In anime, she is recognized for the role of Baobab in the series Zenshu, which was released in 2025. Other notable voice roles in Japanese anime include Death Nail Naomi Brilliant in Bullet/Bullet and Mrs. Cubbenson in Hero Inside. Her work in live-action dubbing includes providing the German voice for Teryl Rothery as Amanda Panda in Chips und Toffel, and for Ji-ah Park as Park Seon-hwa in the series Link: Eat, Love, Kill. She has also contributed to the German versions of popular series such as Yellowstone, Der Doktor und das liebe Vieh, and Sullivan's Crossing.

Beyond screen work, Schumacher has performed roles in several audio drama productions for the Europa label. Her credits in this medium include the role of Erika Thaler in Die drei!!! and the recurring role of Claudia Schmitt in multiple episodes of the series Die Punkies. She has also worked as a lecturer for acting and song interpretation at the Musicalschule Ahrensburg.
