Hernan Andrio Chavarro, also known as Rio Chavarro, is a Miami-based voice actor and dialogue director recognized for his extensive work in English-language adaptations of Japanese anime. His career includes a significant association with the long-running children's franchise Soreike! Anpanman, where he is the voice of the character Horror in the English versions of numerous films in the series. His work on these films includes titles such as Soreike! Anpanman: Yōsei Rinrin no Himitsu, Soreike! Anpanman Yomigaere Bananajima, and Soreike! Anpanman: Happy no Daibōken, among many others. Within the same franchise, Chavarro has also voiced characters like Taro Green Leaf and Robots in various installments. Beyond the Anpanman series, Chavarro is part of the cast for the 2023 English dub of the long-running series Case Closed, where he has voiced supporting characters including Detective Okumura, Detective Sogawa, and Hyoue Kuroda, as well as additional roles across multiple episodes. He also contributed voices to the historical series Onihei, playing characters such as Genpachi and Kumehachi. His other voice role includes the character Bula in an episode of the English version of Mechamato. In addition to voice acting, Chavarro has worked behind the scenes as a dialogue director, serving in this capacity for many Soreike! Anpanman films, including Kirameke! Ice no Kuni no Vanilla-hime and Kagayake! Kurun to Inochi no Hoshi, as well as for the 2022 anime film Eien no 831.
