Teiko Nanahara

Description
Teiko Nanahara is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on October 14, 1996, in Tokyo, Japan. She is currently affiliated with the talent agency Crocodile and was formerly a semi-exclusive talent with Stardust Promotion. Before adopting her current stage name, she performed under the names Teiko and Teiko Kagohara.

Nanahara’s career in entertainment began in music rather than voice acting. She worked as a vocalist for the band Shoujo Shiki Elise and was a member of the idol units Sugar Qualia and Jikou Kokka. Her transition to voice acting occurred after a live concert in 2016, where she performed as a guest singer and met director Kunihiko Ikuhara. This encounter led to her casting as Sara Azuma in the 2019 anime series Sarazanmai, which served as her official debut as a voice actress. She continued to voice this character in the subsequent stage adaptation. In August 2022, she formally changed her stage name to Teiko Nanahara.

Beyond her breakthrough role, Nanahara has voiced a variety of characters in anime. Her credits include Sakura in Uchitama?! Have you seen my Tama? and a schoolgirl, credited as Female Student B, in Horimiya: The Missing Pieces. She has also taken on roles in video games, with appearances in titles such as Monster Strike, Alice Fiction, Sakura Revolution, Soul Ark, and as Nogiku Awaji in Sakura Kakumei: Hanasaku Otome-tachi. Her work extends to digital comics, where she voiced the character Mabel in I Want to Marry the Demon Lord.

Nanahara voices the character Yuki Uyama in the anime series Medalist, which began airing in January 2025. Yuki Uyama is a second-year middle school student and a figure skater who serves as a reliable senior member of her skating club.
