Joe Hernandez is an American voice actor known for his work in anime series and video game localizations. He studied theater arts at California State University, Fullerton, where he earned a bachelor's degree, a foundation that informs his approach to voice acting. His passion for performance began in high school, where he was actively involved in the drama club.

In anime, Hernandez voiced the recurring character Takeshi Saga in the English adaptation of the series Forest of Piano, appearing across both seasons of the show. His other anime credits include roles in several prominent series. He provided voices for characters in the English dubs of Hunter x Hunter, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, and Kengan Ashura. He has also been part of the casts for Edens Zero, Vinland Saga, and My Happy Marriage, among others.

Hernandez is also widely recognized for his extensive contributions to video game voiceovers. He is particularly known for voicing the Goron characters Daruk and Yunubo in multiple installments of the The Legend of Zelda franchise, including Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. His other notable video game roles include Boucheron in Fire Emblem Engage and characters in the Star Wars Jedi series. He has also lent his voice to the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Throughout his career, Hernandez has demonstrated versatility across different genres and formats, from creature work in series like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure to his first feature film role as Rico the yeti crab in the animated film Deep. He values the collaborative creative process in the recording booth and has spoken about the technical precision required in anime dubbing to match existing lip movements, contrasting it with the creative freedom sometimes afforded in video game and film projects where his performance can guide the animation.
