Mimi Maihane is a Japanese actress and voice actress known for her work in anime and stage productions. Born on August 22, 1987, in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, her career began in the performing arts before transitioning to voice acting for animated series.

Maihane initially trained at the Takarazuka Music School, which she entered in 2005. She officially joined the Takarazuka Revue in 2007 as part of the 93rd class, making her stage debut with the Star Troupe in the production Sakura / Secret Hunter before being assigned to the Snow Troupe. She quickly rose through the ranks, gaining attention for her performances in productions such as Solomon's Ring and Mariposa's Flower, where she landed her first leading role in a newcomer performance. In 2009, she starred in the production Wasureyuki, marking her first lead role in a Bow Hall performance. Her career path reached its peak when she was appointed as the top musumeyaku, the lead female performer, of the Snow Troupe, a position she held from March 24, 2011, to December 24, 2012, opposite top star Kei Otozuki. The pairing was known among fans as the "Little Sun couple" due to their warm and cheerful dynamic. She received the Newcomer Award at the 2010 Takarazuka Revue Annual Awards. She performed the role of Juliet in a production of Romeo and Juliet in 2011 and starred in musical adaptations like JIN. She graduated, or retired, from the Takarazuka Revue on December 24, 2012, performing in the production JIN -Jin- / GOLD SPARK!.

Following her departure from the Takarazuka Revue, Maihane joined the talent agency Shochiku Entertainment and expanded her career into television dramas, films, and eventually, anime. She appeared in the live-action television drama Hayako-sensei, Is It True You're Getting Married? in 2016 and in films such as Samurai Hustle and Mother.

As a voice actress, Maihane is known for her anime debut and subsequent roles. She provides the voice for Yōko Adaniya, a nurse working at the island clinic, in the golf-themed television anime series Tonbo! (also known as Oi! Tonbo). Another prominent voice role is that of Agate, a character in the long-running series Pokémon Horizons: The Series. Her other voice acting credits include roles in the series My Hero Academia, where she voiced Mihaera, and in the related series My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, where she performed as Tamao's Mother and Knuckle's Wife.

Maihane has also remained active in live-action and stage productions. Her stage work includes performing in musical adaptations of popular media, such as playing the role of Yuki-onna in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba stage play and portraying the character Tamayo in another production of the same franchise. She also appeared in an Attack on Titan musical production. Her filmography includes a supporting role in the 2021 film The Rice Storm. Her continued involvement in both traditional stage acting and modern anime voice work demonstrates a versatile career across multiple forms of Japanese entertainment.
