Maiko Nomura is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on October 2, 1995, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent agency Ken Production. Nomura spent her early childhood from the age of two to seven living in New York, which contributed to her fluency in English. She attended Sophia University, where she studied literature.

Nomura was inspired to pursue a career in voice acting by watching movies from the Doraemon franchise. She made her professional debut in 2014 and is a graduate of the 16th class of the training school School Duo.

She is best known for her first main role in a television anime series as Mai Niijima in the 2024 series TsumaSho, also known as If My Wife Becomes an Elementary School Student. In an interview, Nomura expressed that playing this role was a significant milestone, describing the experience as fun and stimulating, and noted that her co-stars Daisuke Hirakawa and Aoi Yuki helped guide her through the recording process.

Her other anime credits include roles in Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, Waka Okami wa Shougakusei! (as Fujiwara Mayu), Doraemon, Skip and Loafer, Suzume, and Tokyo 7th Sisters (as Murasaki Echizen). Her work in video games includes providing voices for characters such as Toraogami Almi in 8 beat Story♪ and Ellen Sakurare in Ergosum. Beyond animation, she has also worked on dubbing foreign films, including providing the Japanese voice for the titular character in the film CODA.

In addition to voice acting, Nomura is a singer. She performs as part of the musical unit Lonesome Blue, which debuted in 2022. Her hobbies and skills include singing, archery, playing the piano and guitar, and baking sweets.
