Noam Zylberman is an Israeli-born Canadian voice actor who began his career in the 1980s. He was born on June 30, 1973, in Haifa, Israel, and his family relocated to Canada when he was two years old. Zylberman started pursuing voice acting at a young age; he booked his own audition for a commercial at ten years old and had secured several roles in animated television series by the time he was thirteen.
Zylberman is known for a range of voice roles in animated productions from the late 1980s and early 1990s. One of his most recognized parts was providing the voice for Chip in the series Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater. His other major voice credits include Bentley Raccoon on the popular animated series The Raccoons, a role he played from 1987 to 1990, and Split Kit from Garbage Pail Kids. He also voiced Billy in Popples, Bobby in the Police Academy cartoon series, Rusty Wildwood in Sylvanian Families, Curtis Shumway in ALF Tales, and Fritz in the 1990 animated movie The Nutcracker Prince. Additional voice work includes roles in shows such as Tales from the Cryptkeeper, C.O.P.S., Babar, My Pet Monster, The Care Bears, and the character Fidge in the Star Wars: Droids cartoon special The Great Heep.
Beyond voice acting, Zylberman appeared on camera in several television shows and films during his youth. He played the title role in the coming-of-age feature film The Outside Chance of Maximilian Glick, for which he received positive recognition from a Toronto Star critic. He also appeared in episodes of series such as Katts and Dog, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, Friday the 13th: The Series, and War of the Worlds. In 1991, he received a nomination for the Young Artist Award for Best Young Actor in a Cable Special for his performance in the television movie Last Train Home.
