Tetsuya Yamazaki is a Japanese voice actor and actor born on May 7, 1957 in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the theater company and talent agency Theatre Echo, having joined the organization after graduating from its attached training school. He is also a graduate of the Yokohama Broadcast Film College, now known as the Japan Film University.

Yamazaki's voice acting career includes several roles in anime films and television series from the 1980s. One of his early roles was providing the voice of Kawamura in the 1987 anime series Yume kara, Samenai. In the same decade, he also appeared as a baseball club member in the 1985 film Lunn Flies into the Wind and had a role in the 1986 anime film 11 Piki no Neko to Ahoudori.

His work in the mecha genre includes the role of Reaf in the 1984 television series Heavy Metal L-Gaim. Yamazaki also contributed to voice casts for Japanese dubs of foreign animation. He was the voice of the character Dachsie in the 1989 Japanese theatrical version of Disney's Lady and the Tramp. In the Japanese dub of Dumbo, he voiced the Spectacled Crow. His filmography also includes a role in the 1995 live-action film Drunken Master III, where he performed as an assassin.
