Oliver El-Fayoumy is a German actor and voice-over artist known for his extensive work in theatre and his contributions as a German dubbing voice for anime and other productions. Born in 1979 in Wickede, Germany, he pursued his acting training at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, studying there from 2001 to 2005. His stage career includes engagements at prominent theatres such as the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, Grenzlandtheater Aachen, and the Westfälisches Landestheater, as well as involvement in various free theatre projects. Early in his career, he received recognition for his acting, winning the Nachwuchsförderpreis des Grenzlandtheaters Aachen in 2007 and the Förderpreis für Darstellende Kunst der Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf in 2009.

In the realm of voice acting, El-Fayoumy is most recognized by anime fans for his role as Mezo Shoji, also known as Tentacole, in the popular series My Hero Academia. He provides the German voice for this character across multiple installments of the franchise. This includes the main My Hero Academia television series, as well as the films My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising and My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission. In these productions, he dubs over the voice of the Japanese actor Masakazu Nishida, who originally portrays Shoji.

Beyond his work in the My Hero Academia franchise, El-Fayoumy's portfolio as a German dubbing voice includes a variety of other anime roles. His credits include minor roles in series such as Hunter x Hunter and Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga, as well as a speaking part in the film Lu Over the Wall.
