Edwin Neal, also known as Ed Neal, is an American actor and voice actor recognized for his extensive work in English-language anime dubs, primarily produced by ADV Films in the 1990s and early 2000s. He began his career after studying acting and directing at the University of Texas at Austin. A significant early achievement in his voice acting career was his work on the ADV dub of the original Gatchaman series, where he provided 26 distinct voices across all 103 episodes, including the primary antagonist, Berg Katse. He later reprised the role of Berg Katse in the Gatchaman OVA and film.

His voice roles in anime cover a wide range of characters. He voiced the villainous Dr. Robotnik, as well as the President, in the 1996 OVA Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie. In the Getter Robo: Armageddon OVA series, he voiced the character Gai. He is also credited with the role of Professor Gil Ramsey in the Shuten Doji series. Other notable anime credits include roles in Lost Universe as Roy Glen, Ninja Resurrection as Mori Soiken, Soul Hunter as Lisei, Jing: King of Bandits as the Emcee, and in the series Mazinkaiser, he performed the roles of Nuke and Professor Morimori. He also provided voices for additional characters in series such as Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, Devil Lady, GetBackers, and Wedding Peach. Beyond anime, his voice work extends to video games, including roles in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and DC Universe Online.

Over the course of his career, Neal frequently collaborated with other voice actors based in Texas and working on ADV Productions. His contributions to anime dubbing have been recognized with an industry award; in 2015, he received a Behind The Voice Actors Award for Best Male Supporting Vocal Performance in an Anime Movie/Special for his role as Berg Katse in the English dub of the Gatchaman film.
