Masatoyo Tetsuno is a Japanese voice actor born on May 5, 1969 in Suita, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. His career includes voice work across anime, video games, and Japanese dubbing for foreign television series. He is perhaps best known to anime audiences for his role as Axel in the series Zone of the Enders. Another notable anime role is Yagura, also known as Gensho Ryudoin, in the long-running series Naruto. His other anime credits include Tomo in Black Jack, Teruhiko Takada in Hajime no Ippo, Pressburg in Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Taizo in Saiyuki Gunlock, Sento in Turn A Gundam, and a footman in Emma: A Victorian Romance. In the video game field, Tetsuno has provided Japanese voices for characters such as Garik Ronso in Final Fantasy X-2, Serac in Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, and Tsugarubi in Sakura Taisen V: Saraba, Itoshiki Hito yo. He has also worked in voice dubbing for live-action productions, including providing the Japanese voice for the character Boone Carlyle in the television series Lost.
