Pinky Rajput, also known as Pinky Pal Rajput, is an Indian voice dubbing artist, dubbing director, and translator who works primarily in Hindi, as well as English and Marathi. Born in Mumbai on January 20, 1969, she has been active in the voice-over industry since 1993. In addition to her voice work, she is the co-founder and a director of Mayukhi in Sync Pvt Ltd, a company that produces Hindi and other regional language dubs for animated series and features on channels such as Cartoon Network, POGO, Nickelodeon, and History TV 18.
Rajput began her dubbing career when she was working as a chief assisting director on a Hindi serial; an actress on the show lost her voice due to a sore throat, and she was asked to dub the role. This opportunity led to further work at Sagar Arts and a major breakthrough with the Hindi dub of the American soap opera The Young and the Restless. She has since provided voices for numerous animated series, films, and live-action productions for major networks and studios.
Within the realm of anime, Rajput is known for her work on several long-running Japanese series dubbed into Hindi. She voiced various characters in the series Atashin'chi, including the role of Yukarin. Her other anime voice roles include parts in series such as Chibi Maruko Chan, Jankenman, Anpanman, Monster Kid, and Niyander. She was also part of the first Hindi dubbing cast for the popular Pokémon anime, providing the voices for characters including Delia Ketchum and Nurse Joy.
Beyond anime, Rajput has an extensive body of work in other genres. She also voiced the character of Anjani in the 2005 animated film Hanuman and has contributed to live-action film dubs, including Hindi versions of Hollywood films like the Spider-Man series, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
