Steinke has lent his voice to several anime productions in the German dubbing industry. He is recognized for performing the role of Ernest Thompson Seton in the series Seton Dōbutsuki, which aired in Germany under the title Setons Welt der Tiere. This series, which focuses on the adventures of the famous naturalist and his animal companions, represents one of his notable contributions to the anime genre.
