Yumi Suzuki
Description
Yumi Suzuki is a female voice actress from Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, born on April 1, 1975. She is currently a freelance voice artist but was previously affiliated with the agencies Y.M.O and Love Live. Early in her career, she worked under the stage name Yumi Suzuki Mahiru. Her career spans a wide range of voice acting work in television animation, original video animations, video games, and drama CDs beginning in the mid-1990s.
One of her most prominent and long-running roles was in the anime adaptation of Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Kōen-mae Hashutsuko, where she voiced multiple characters from 1996 to 2004, including Katsuhei, Akiko, and a young Kankichi Ryotsu. Her other significant anime credits include a role in the third Captain Tsubasa television series as Machida, Tātan in Genki Genki Nontan, and Shizuko in the series Yoshimune. She has also contributed to the Touch franchise and appeared in Medarot.
Her work in drama CDs and radio dramas is extensive, particularly within the Animate Tenchō series. In this franchise, she frequently voiced the character Dōgenzaka Oriru across multiple releases, including Animate Tenchō Original Drama CD, Animate Tenchō: The Dark Future, and related radio drama CDs.
