Reina Scully is a Japanese-American voice actor, YouTuber, and translator known for her work in bridging Japanese and English-language media. Born in Japan and raised in the United States, she adopted the stage name Scully as a reference to the character Dana Scully from The X-Files. Her bilingual and bicultural background has been central to her professional career.

Scully's entry into the anime industry was significantly influenced by her work as a translator. She has stated that she began translating professionally in high school and has applied those skills to projects including the anime series Akame ga Kill! and Baby Steps. This expertise led to a long-standing association with the anime streaming service Crunchyroll, where she became a recognizable on-camera personality, hosting content and appearing on panels such as the "Anime Academy" at Anime Expo 2018.

As a voice actor, Scully has lent her voice to characters in several English-dubbed productions. Her credits include a role as a pilot in the animated series RWBY and as DJ Aoyama in the series Urahara. Her most prominent voice acting role to date is Aki Murasame in the original anime project Mecha-Ude. When the 25-minute pilot for Mecha-Ude was released on YouTube in May 2019, the English-dubbed version was made available on Scully's personal channel, where she also voiced the character Aki. She served as the assistant global producer for this project, which was initially funded through a successful Kickstarter campaign.
