Miharu Kobayashi is a Japanese voice actor and stage actor born on August 24, 1995, in the United States. She began her career while a high school student enrolled at the Japan Narration Acting Institute, a training school for voice actors. Her debut role came in 2013 when she was cast as Sakura Dōmyōji in the television anime series Chronicles of the Going Home Club, also known as Kitakubu Katsudō Kiroku. This character is considered her most prominent and representative role. In an interview following her debut, Kobayashi noted that her own personality is quite different from the character she played, describing herself as an introverted and shy person, which made portraying the role a personal challenge.

Her involvement with the series extended beyond voice acting. She performed in character as Sakura Dōmyōji on several songs for the series' character song and soundtrack album, released in September 2013. These included the ending theme song Wakuwaku DAYS☆ and the insert song Maō. Kobayashi also served as one of the hosts for the official online radio program associated with the anime, which ran from June to October 2013. In 2014, she provided the voice for the character Kapu in the short-form anime series Nyan-mein.

Her early career profile indicates her hobbies included music appreciation and sleeping, with a particular fondness for classical music, and she had been a member of her junior high school brass band club. In 2017, she began expanding her performance career into stage acting by joining the theater company MIX. The following year, in 2018, she changed her stage name from Miharu Kobayashi to Miharu Sakurai, under which she continues to perform in theatrical productions.
