Following the success of their mission escorting Kudelia Aina Bernstein, which brought them fame during the conflict over the Arbrau representative election, the private security company Tekkadan has returned to Mars with their name now known throughout the Outer Sphere. As the young organization begins to expand, its leader Orga Itsuka finds himself struggling under the unfamiliar weight and pressures of his new responsibilities. Witnessing their commander’s internal conflict, Mikazuki Augus and the other members of Tekkadan devise a plan of their own to help him.

The short film is set in the timeline between the first and second seasons of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. The main characters are the core duo of the original series: the stoic and exceptionally skilled Gundam pilot Mikazuki Augus and the ambitious, charismatic leader of Tekkadan, Orga Itsuka. The narrative arc focuses on the growing pains of Tekkadan as it transitions from a small band of Martian orphans into a recognized political and military force, highlighting the personal toll that leadership and rapid growth take on Orga. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the television anime, the film reunites the original creative staff, including director Tatsuyuki Nagai and scriptwriter Mari Okada. It also features a new design for the Gundam Barbatos, called the Gundam Barbatos Adapt, equipped with two swords provided by the Teiwaz conglomerate.
