Description
After a long day working at the Maid Latte cafe, Misaki Ayuzawa returns home with a torn uniform. She asks her mother to mend the rip, but her younger sister Suzuna eagerly volunteers to do the sewing instead. Once the repair is finished, Suzuna becomes curious about the outfit and decides to try on the maid uniform herself, much to Misakis alarm. Before Misaki can stop the situation from escalating, Suzuna also convinces their mother to put on the uniform, creating a chaotic and embarrassing scene at the Ayuzawa household.
The situation grows more complicated when unexpected guests arrive at the front door. Misaki rushes to answer it herself to prevent her family from being seen in the maid outfits, but she is spotted by Takumi Usui and Hinata Shintani while still wearing her work uniform. Despite her discomfort, she invites both boys inside for dinner, and they quickly finish the meal Suzuna has prepared. During the conversation that follows, Suzuna asks how the two of them ended up at the house. Shintani explains that the bottom of a box he was carrying broke apart, sending pumpkins rolling down a steep hill, and Usui happened to be there to help him gather them.
As the evening continues, Misaki brings up the topic of the kitten Usui found and has been caring for. When she asks whether he has named the cat yet, he admits he has not even tried calling it anything. Suzuna and Shintani begin suggesting names based on whatever they see around the kitchen, such as ingredients and household items. Misaki looks around and suggests the name Licht, which she sees on a container, without realizing that it means light in German. Later that night, Usui returns home and feeds the kitten, finally addressing it by its new name. He reflects that the cats behavior reminds him of Misaki, particularly the way it acts stubborn and aloof before showing affection. The special ends with the kitten, now named Licht, falling asleep on Usuis lap.
