Description
A young girl named Momo is the princess of Fenarinarsa, the Land of Dreams in the Sky, a magical kingdom sustained by humanitys belief in dreams and hopes. When people on Earth begin to lose their wonder, Fenarinarsa faces disappearance. Momo is sent to Earth to restore that faith. Accompanied by her three animal companions—the dog Sindbook, the monkey Mokka, and the bird Pipil—she is adopted by a young, childless couple and takes on the appearance of a teenage girl. Using a magic wand, she transforms into an adult version of herself suited to various professions, from a police officer to a veterinarian, helping others and collecting magical jewels needed to save her kingdom.

The 1987 special, Hitomi no Seiza Minky Momo Song Special, does not advance this overarching story. Instead, it serves as a music video collection that compiles the full versions of nine songs from the original television series soundtrack. The visual sequences are drawn directly from the anime, creating a montage of moments from Momos adventures, transformations, and daily life. The featured songs include character themes such as I Love Minky Momo, Minky Stick Doriminpa, and the titular Hitomi no Seiza, among others. Released on January 21, 1987, this half-hour special is a standalone musical retrospective rather than a narrative-driven episode or film. It offers fans a concentrated experience of the series signature music and key animated scenes without introducing new plot points or conflicts.
