On the day the decade-long serialization finally concludes, Kim Dokja finds himself alone on a subway train, mourning the end of the story that was his only escape. The dokkaebi are the manipulative moderators who design and execute these scenarios, forcing humanity to fight, kill, and scheme simply to see the next sunrise. As panic erupts in his subway car and the first brutal scenario begins, Kim Dokja realizes he possesses an impossible advantage. He is the only person on the planet who has read the entire story of this apocalypse.
