Description
After aliens conquered Earth, humanity was reduced to pets, slaves, and entertainment for their alien overlords. The most popular spectacle is Alien Stage, a reality singing competition where humans trained at the Anakt Garden institution are pitted against each other in musical death matches. The loser is executed on stage before a live alien audience, while the winner advances to the next round.
The story follows six main contestants whose lives intertwine through the competition. Mizi is a bright and caring pink-haired performer who bonds deeply with Sua, a more reserved black-haired girl. Their childhood friendship is shattered in the first round when they are forced to duel; Mizi wins by a single vote and Sua is killed on stage, setting a tragic tone for the entire series. Till and Ivan share a complicated history. Till, a sensitive artist and floral arranger, and Ivan, a boy from the slums who became obsessed with Till after witnessing his bravery, are pitted against each other in later rounds. Ivan ultimately sacrifices himself by taking the bullets meant for Till, revealing a twisted but genuine love.
Luka is a skilled manipulator who uses psychological tactics to provoke his opponents. He faces Mizi in round five, weaponizing her trauma over Sua's death. Mizi snaps and attacks Luka, but before he can kill her, Hyuna—a human rebel—rescues her and they escape together, joining an underground rebellion. Hyuna is a resourceful fighter who infiltrates the competition to save her allies.
The remaining narrative arcs include the final showdown between Luka and Till, where Luka wins decisively. As Luka moves to deliver the finishing blow, Mizi, now part of the rebellion, rushes the stage and rescues Till. The four survivors—Mizi, Till, Hyuna, and Luka—leave together. Seven years later, Till has joined the rebels and works to save trafficked human children. The series concludes with Mizi making a final sacrifice to ensure Till’s safety, pushing him toward the rebel faction while she chooses self-destruction.
