Description
Ra-Dorudo-Gu is a character from the tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Kuuga, where he appears as a condor-like member of the Gurongi, the monster tribe that serves as the series' primary antagonist group. He belongs to the Ra Group, the subdivision of the Gurongi whose members act as judges, supervisors, and record keepers for the Gegeru, the tribe's ritual killing game. The police formally identify him as Unidentified Lifeform No. 47 in his monster form and as B Group No. 9 in his human form. In human form, he appears as a tall, slender man dressed in dark clothing with a white cloth covering the lower portion of his face, which gives him a quiet and indistinct presence. He carries a device known as the Bugundada, an abacus-like counter that he uses to track the number of human victims killed during the high-level Gegeru conducted by the Go Group and to confirm that the game is being carried out according to the tribe's rules.

His defining arc takes place during the Gegeru of Go Gadoru Ba, the strongest member of the Go Group. While Ra-Dorudo-Gu is monitoring the game, the detective Kaoru Ichijo shoots the Bugundada with a rifle, destroying the device and striking Ra-Dorudo-Gu with a marking bullet. Enraged at this unexpected disruption, Ra-Dorudo-Gu transforms into his monster form, knocks Ichijo away, and escapes. Because the counter is destroyed, Gadoru's kill count is reset and the game is effectively ruined, a disgrace that Ra-Dorudo-Gu is forced to atone for with his life. He then faces Gadoru in a duel, fighting with impressive skill and landing a series of precise strikes with his tonfa weapons while holding his own against the Go Group's most powerful fighter. The duel turns against him when Gadoru tears off part of his wings, and Ra-Dorudo-Gu is forced to flee. He is pursued by the police officers Morimichi Sugita and Tsuyoshi Sakurai, who shoot him with specially developed neural-breaking bullets designed to destroy the nerve nodes that grant the Gurongi their superhuman regenerative abilities. Without his regeneration, he reverts to his human form and dies. His death carries significance within the series, as it marks the first time that human beings succeed in destroying a Gurongi using a weapon of their own creation, representing the growing capability of humanity to defend itself through scientific ingenuity.
