Description
Miyuki Yoshinaga is the human disguise of the Orchid Undead, a major antagonist in Kamen Rider Blade. She is classified as the Category Queen of Hearts within the Undead hierarchy, representing the ancestor of orchids. Her human form appears as a young woman with a clean, refined, and elegant appearance, often dressed in white and green, and she initially poses as a university student studying old buildings. This facade of innocence and grace is deliberately misleading, as her true nature is calculating, manipulative, and ruthless.

The Orchid Undead is a cunning strategist who excels at psychological warfare. She prefers to avoid direct combat whenever possible, instead orchestrating events so that others fight and weaken each other. Her primary method is to form temporary alliances with other Undead or manipulate humans, using charm, deception, and false promises to achieve her goals. She is known for her willingness to betray allies once they are no longer useful, a trait that makes even other Undead wary of her. Her ultimate objective is to win the Battle Fight and emerge as the dominant species, and she believes that humans are beneath her, treating them as tools to be used and discarded.

In the story, Miyuki first appears by targeting Kotaro Shirai, a human close to the Riders, to gain access to information and sabotage the Undead Searcher system. She partners with Yazawa, the Capricorn Undead, in an early attempt to steal the Blay Buckle and eliminate Kazuma Kenzaki as Kamen Rider Blade. When this plan fails due to the intervention of Hajime Aikawa as Kamen Rider Chalice, she quickly moves on to new schemes. She later attempts to manipulate Mutsuki Kamijo, the new Kamen Rider Leangle, to steal his Remote card, which would allow her to release sealed Undead. She also instigates conflict between Chalice and the Eagle Undead by sowing doubt about Hajime's true identity. Her most ambitious plan involves pitting the powerful Elephant Undead against Chalice, hoping for their mutual destruction. However, nearly all of her schemes unravel because other Undead see through her manipulation or because her plans lack a solid backup.

Her key relationships are defined by her utilitarian approach. She works alongside the Capricorn Undead, though he openly criticizes her for never getting her own hands dirty. She manipulates the Eagle Undead into investigating Hajime, but this yields no lasting result. She attempts to ally with the Wolf Undead, but he rejects her outright due to his aggressive and independent nature. The Elephant Undead sees through her trickery and turns on her, inflicting serious damage. Her most significant human target is Kotaro Shirai, whom she uses as a hostage and a source of information. He becomes the only character to show her genuine kindness even after learning she is an Undead, offering her a chance at peace. This moment briefly shakes her, but she ultimately chooses to knock him unconscious and confront Hajime in a final battle.

Her development is limited but notable. Despite her many failed strategies, she never displays panic or regret, instead viewing the escalating conflict as entertainment. The one moment of potential change comes when Kotaro saves her after she has been severely beaten. He asks her to stop attacking humans, believing that understanding between species is possible. She appears momentarily moved, but the arrival of Hajime brings her back to her original mindset. Rather than surrender or negotiate, she knocks out Kotaro and challenges Hajime, fighting to the end without asking for mercy. She is ultimately defeated and sealed into a Rouse Card, becoming the Absorb Orchid card.

As a fighter, the Orchid Undead possesses abilities typical of a high-level Royal Club Undead but is considered less powerful in direct combat compared to others of her rank. Her physical strength is sufficient to stop a moving car, and she can use her right arm, which takes the form of a vine, to ensnare and constrict opponents. A distinctive feature is a second face on the back of her head, from which she can release a cloud of petal-like pollen to confuse or disorient enemies. She also emits a natural orchid fragrance, which in theory can captivate opponents. She can detach a shoulder knife for use as a weapon. Her true strength lies not in these physical capabilities, however, but in her intelligence, patience, and willingness to use anything and anyone as a means to an end.
