Description
Residing in Goha City and attending Goha 7th Elementary, Yūga frequently modified Duel Disks and systems to implement Rush Duels, earning penalties from the controlling Goha Corporation. After his fifth penalty risked permanent suspension, a pivotal duel unfolded in the school's Relic Chamber against a holographic Otes. Using Sevens Road Magician empowered by "Double Accel," Yūga achieved victory, establishing Rush Duels and erasing his penalties, while sparking the legend of the "King of Duels."

Despite Goha Corporation's opposition, Yūga actively promoted Rush Duels. He founded the Rush Duel Club with friends Lucidien "Luke" Kallister, Gavin Sogetsu, and Romin Kassidy. His inventive "Roads" included the modified drone Kaizo and the Duel Bike. To demonstrate Rush Dueling's appeal, he dueled numerous opponents: schoolmates, Goha agents like Nail Saionji, and rivals like Asana Mutsuba. His strategies centered on Spellcaster monsters, leveraging Sevens Road Magician's ability to gain power from multiple Attributes in the Graveyard.

A major conflict arose with Goha executive Yuga Goha, who sought to eliminate Rush Duels by brainwashing duelists. Yūga confronted him in a high-stakes duel in space. Though he defeated Yuga Goha and thwarted his plans, the duel left Yūga stranded in space for two years. He eventually returned to friends and family awaiting his recovery.

Later, Yūga reappeared, assisting new protagonists in reintroducing Rush Duels. He dueled adversaries like The☆Lugh and Phaser Ryugu, reinforcing his commitment to evolving the game.

Yūga embodies ingenuity, optimism, and a selfless drive to share joy through dueling. He values collaboration, often supporting others' dreams over personal glory, exemplified by enabling Luke to pursue the title of King of Duels. He fears ladybugs and swimming. The kanji in his surname Ōdō (王道, "king's road") reflects his theme of innovation.
