Hiiro Ishibashi
Description
Hiiro Ishibashi is a Japanese voice actor and singer affiliated with Avex Pictures, who was born in Chiba Prefecture on August 24, 2004. His career in the entertainment industry began at a young age; he started taking vocal and dance lessons at the Avex Academy Tokyo when he was four years old. In 2015, he gained early recognition by winning the grand prize in the singing category at Avex's Kira Challenge talent competition. He also has experience as a rapper, appearing in a 2016 commercial for Dai-ichi Life.
Ishibashi made his voice acting debut in 2018 with a high-profile role, providing the Japanese dub voice for the main character, Miguel Rivera, in the Disney/Pixar film Coco. His first role in a theatrical anime film came in 2019 when he voiced the character Umi in Studio 4°C's Children of the Sea. He made his television anime debut in 2020 as the protagonist Yuga Ohdo in Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens, a role that significantly raised his profile.
Since his debut, Ishibashi has built a filmography primarily centered on young, energetic male protagonists. Following his lead role in Yu-Gi-Oh!
