In the Re: Cutie Honey continuity, Gold Claw first appears by broadcasting a message on television to announce Panther Claw's control over the city. After several of her subordinates are defeated by Cutie Honey, Gold Claw initiates a more personal plan. She attacks a police headquarters and takes Inspector Natsuko Aki hostage, forcing Honey to surrender. Once Honey complies, Gold Claw restrains the heroine and prepares to execute her with her chest missiles. However, with Natsuko's help, Honey reactivates her I-System, breaks free, and defeats Gold Claw by using a frequency-based attack that disrupts the nanomachines in her body, causing her to vaporize.

In the live-action film continuity, Gold Claw is part of a plot to kidnap the scientist Dr. Utsugi. She battles Cutie Honey to a standstill at a sea bunker but is knocked out by Honey's boomerang attack. Although she survives this encounter, she is later brought before the Panther Claw leader Sister Jill. Jill executes Gold Claw on the spot for her failure, dropping her into a pit. In other depictions, she participates in a plan where her underlings are intentionally arrested to act as a Trojan horse, breaking free inside the police station to cause chaos before she arrives to finish off Honey and the police.
