Description
Kōichi Moroha emerges as the primary antagonist in the Shrine of Fire narrative arc, a Japanese operative within the KGB’s Far East Division charged with securing ancient relics for the Soviet Union. He wields the Hihiirokane sword, a hereditary weapon imbued with supernatural properties inherited through his family lineage.

Endowed with moderate psychic abilities, Moroha employs the Tornado Beast technique to conjure violent wind currents capable of dismembering adversaries. His assignment to recover the Fire Orb, an artifact of catastrophic power, spirals into personal ambition when he resolves to harness its energy for himself. This betrayal of Soviet allegiance propels him toward a self-driven quest for global domination.

The climactic confrontation with rival Yu Ominae unfolds amid Mount Fuji’s eruption, where Moroha meets his demise after a decisive strike hurls him into molten lava. His arc is defined by a rejection of subservience, driven to transcend his role as an agent by wielding ancient technology to forcibly reshape the world under his authority.
