Dr. Meyzel is an elderly ARCAM Corporation scientist renowned for his expertise in ancient relic research. Stationed at ARCAM's Mount Ararat facility in Turkey, his critical work focuses on deciphering Noah's Ark, an artifact potentially capable of catastrophic power if misused. His invaluable knowledge and experience earn him high regard within ARCAM and make him a target for rivals like the Pentagon, leading ARCAM to prioritize his security.
During the Noah's Ark incident, Colonel MacDougal of the U.S. Machine Corps forces Meyzel to activate the Ark under threat of executing ARCAM personnel. Despite pressure to unleash the Ark's power against humanity, Meyzel resists. Following the intervention of Spriggan agents Yu Ominae and Jean Jacquemonde, Meyzel triggers the Ark's self-destruct system, sacrificing himself to prevent global catastrophe.
Meyzel later reappears during ARCAM's investigation of the South Pole Shrine. He joins Margaret, Rie Yamabishi, Eva McMahon, and Yoshino Somei in a revolt against Trident Corporation operatives Henry Garnum and Larry Markson. Their objective is to assist Yu, Jean, and defector Iwao Akatsuki in disrupting Trident's operations.
Professionally dedicated to relic analysis and technological development, Meyzel pioneers advanced combat equipment for Spriggans. His innovations include armored suits woven with orihalcon fibers. These suits enhance physical capabilities and offer protection against heat, pressure, and combat damage by interfacing directly with the wearer's nervous system.
