Description
Nosuri is a supporting character in the story of Utawarerumono: The False Faces. She presents herself as a flamboyant and self-appointed noble thief, building a reputation for stealing from the wealthy and corrupt in order to give to the poor. Despite her generous intentions, the townspeople often regard her as a nuisance because she is notably clumsy when distributing her loot, frequently causing property damage in the process. She also has a habit of rushing headlong into situations without careful thought, as seen when she eagerly assisted in the staged kidnapping of the princess Anju.

Nosuri is the sister of Ougi, who serves as her more prudent and level-headed henchman. The two of them function as mercenary fighters under the employ of Ukon, a key ally in the protagonist Haku's circle. In her role, Nosuri participates in various covert and combat missions alongside the main group, leveraging her fighting skills as a capable melee combatant.

Her personality is brash, short-sighted, and fiercely competitive; she hates to lose, especially when a bet is involved. She is also headstrong and extremely devoted to the duties she takes on. Nosuri's motivations are rooted in a sense of justice and a desire to help those less fortunate, though her impulsive methods often work against her. Within the story, she develops primarily through her interactions with the other mercenaries and her brother, but she remains largely consistent in her energetic and reckless demeanor across both The False Faces and its sequel, The Two Hakuoro. She wields no special supernatural abilities, instead relying on her physical prowess and determination in battle.
