Description
Ougi is a young mercenary in the anime Utawarerumono: The False Faces. He is the younger brother of Nosuri, and the two function as a pair of aides and fighters attached to the mercenary leader Ukon. When Ukon's true identity as the imperial general Oshtor is revealed, he draws Haku and several trusted companions into a covert network, and Ougi and Nosuri become part of this group, carrying out sensitive tasks in and around the imperial capital. Ougi's duties include supporting operations such as the capture of a bandit leader and the rescue of Princess Anju. Following that rescue, he receives a direct order from Oshtor to remain in the capital with the prince Kiuru, continuing to serve the network from within the city. He also appears in the later anime installment Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, where his role as a loyal operative continues.
Physically, Ougi is a youthful-looking young man with a slim build. He has salmon-colored hair and feathered ears, traits he shares with his sister. He is shorter than Haku but taller than most of the rest of the group. He dresses in a black cloak with a large collar worn over a fitted military-style uniform, complete with white gloves, and he fights with two short sabers.
In personality, Ougi serves as the careful counterpart to his impulsive sister.
