Description
Aldea is a character from the anime Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia, where she initially serves as an antagonist. She is a member of the Sixth Invasion Division of the Vatlantis Empire and was once part of an elite unit known as Quartum, which served as the emperor's personal guardians.
In terms of her background, Aldea is a beautiful young woman with long jade-green hair and deep purple eyes. She stands 166 centimeters tall and has a very voluptuous, model-like figure. Her pilot suit is green and notably short. When she activates her Heart Hybrid Gear, multiple shields appear around her, giving her the appearance of a solid fortress. Outside of combat, she typically wears a green dress that leaves much of her chest and navel exposed, though she adopted a normal school uniform during her time on Ataraxia.
Aldea's personality is complex and layered. On the surface, she is very cheerful and jolly, often speaking with anyone, whether ally or enemy, in the manner of a high-class lady. She is frequently seen drinking black tea and maintaining this refined demeanor. However, this friendly exterior masks an arrogant and haughty nature. She looks down upon anyone she perceives as weak, particularly humans who cannot match the power of the Vatlantis Empire. She possesses a mean and sadistic streak, showing no hesitation in defeating or even killing enemies without warning or provocation, and she often enjoys watching their destruction without considering the consequences.
A defining characteristic of Aldea is that she is a battle maniac. She always enjoys a fight to the death and is constantly looking for a reason to start a conflict, even against her own friends. Many people who know her personally, including her close partner Gravel, find these traits troublesome. This love of combat was even the reason she was demoted from the imperial guard. When transported to another world where combat and power meant everything, she openly expressed happiness and thought it would be fine if they stayed there forever, as she eagerly looked forward to her next opponent.
Despite her aggressive and sadistic tendencies, Aldea is notably loyal to her friends, and most especially to Gravel, whom she loves dearly. The scar on her chest was given to her by Gravel, and she treasures it greatly. Their relationship is intimate, and she is shown to be close with Gravel, celebrating her achievements and willingly assisting her.
Aldea's role in the story begins as an enemy. She is first encountered by the protagonist Kizuna Hida and Hayuru Himekawa drinking tea in the middle of a destroyed city in Guam. She easily overpowers them both using her Heart Hybrid Gear, forcing them to flee. Later in the narrative, she undergoes development, eventually becoming an ally. She remains in Atlantis with Gravel but expresses that she would not mind staying in Lemuria if Gravel chose to do so. After the restoration of Ataraxia, Aldea frequently causes problems out of boredom, seeking distraction, but is stopped by Gravel. She also shows jealousy when seeing Kizuna close to Gravel, taking out her frustration on him, though she ultimately supports Gravel's feelings for him.

Her combat skills are so great that she was a member of Quartum, and during her first time in Lemuria, she was capable of fighting the entire Amaterasu Squad at once without much effort. Her Heart Hybrid Gear is called Zeel. It has the unique ability to change its form from a shield with extremely effective defensive capabilities to a spear. When purged, Zeel can detach and become either weapon independently. Her fighting style combines these spear and shield weapons, allowing her to switch easily from defense to offense.
