Description
Priscilla Urzaiz is a supporting character in The Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water. She is the younger sister of Irene Urzaiz and a student at the Rewolf Black Institute. She is sixteen years old, stands about 162 centimeters tall, and has brown eyes and dark red or auburn hair that she usually wears in twin braids. In the academy setting she appears in the standard Rewolf Black Institute girls' uniform.
Priscilla comes from a war-torn country alongside her sister Irene. Because Priscilla is a Strega with the rare ability to regenerate her own injuries, her parents intended to sell her to a researcher associated with the Allekant academy. Irene refused to accept this fate and fled with her younger sister. The two were eventually saved by Dirk Eberwein, the student council president of the Rewolf Black Institute, on the condition that Irene become the owner of the powerful weapon known as Gravisheath. Under this arrangement, Priscilla and Irene found safety and a place to live within the institute.
Her personality is gentle, kind-hearted, and attentive to the people around her. She is especially watchful over her sister and frequently worries about her, since Irene tends to act recklessly and get into trouble. Priscilla extends the same warmth and consideration to people she has only just met, making her a caring and approachable presence in the story. Her primary motivation is to remain close to Irene and to support her in whatever way she can. Although she was saved from being sold because of her regenerative gift, that same gift ties her to her sister's fighting career in a painful way. The Gravisheath demands blood in order to be wielded at full power, and Irene draws on Priscilla's blood as a power source. Priscilla accepts this role with reluctance, enduring the physical cost because it allows Irene to fight and protects the life the two sisters have built together. She also serves as a blood bank for Irene during major events such as the Phoenix Festa, making her an important behind-the-scenes contributor to her sister's battles.
Her relationship with Irene is the emotional center of her character. The bond between the sisters is deep and protective in both directions, though their situation is complicated by the fact that Priscilla's body is used to fuel Irene's weapon. Dirk Eberwein also plays a significant role in her story, as the person who rescued both sisters and gave them a new start, though that rescue came with obligations that continue to shape their lives.
In terms of development, Priscilla remains a relatively quiet supporting figure. Her arc is primarily defined by loyalty and quiet endurance rather than combat or dramatic change. She does not fight directly, but her ability makes her valuable in a supporting capacity. As a regenerative Strega, she can recover from wounds remarkably quickly, and it is this trait that makes her blood so prized. Her strength lies less in offensive power and more in her resilience, her compassion, and her willingness to sacrifice her own comfort for the sake of her sister. Through her concern for Irene and her kindness toward strangers, she provides a gentle counterbalance to the more combative personalities around her, while her personal history highlights the darker side of the world in which Genestella abilities are bought, sold, and exploited.
