Description
Daiya is a young girl who appears in the anime adaptation of Mahou Shoujo Nante Mouiidesukara. She is notably younger than the main characters, Yuzuka Hanami and Chiya Sakagami, and her full name is given as Dia Amafū. Physically, she is a human with blonde hair. In contrast to the series' primary protagonists, Daiya is not a magical girl herself; she is an ordinary human with no transformation abilities or combat role.

Despite her lack of magical powers, Daiya possesses a unique and subtle supernatural sensitivity. She can faintly see and physically touch the small, creature-like beings Miton and Pochi, who are otherwise invisible to normal people. Her ability extends to perceiving ghosts as well. However, this connection is incomplete, as while she can see them, she is unable to hear anything they say. This special perception allows her to interact with the non-human characters in ways that other ordinary people cannot, even if that interaction is one-sided in terms of verbal communication.

In terms of personality, Daiya is consistently kind, polite, and considerate in her interactions with others. Her demeanor is exceptionally bright and friendly, with a noticeable "cute" quality that endears her to those around her. One review describes her as having an "adorably cute sense of self," and her presence in a scene is often light and mellow, providing a contrast to some of the series' other character dynamics. She is a gentle and sweet-natured girl who leaves a positive impression on almost everyone she meets.

Her primary role in the story is as a supportive friend to the main cast. She first becomes friends with Yuzuka, and through her, meets the other magical girls. Her friendly nature quickly wins over Chiya, a character who is typically quiet and even intimidating towards the creature Miton. Chiya finds Daiya so adorable that she befriends her almost immediately, which is an unusual reaction for her. Daiya also meets and befriends another magical girl, Mafuyu Shinoki, at a cafe. Her relationships are built on her genuine kindness; she has a calming influence and is a source of warmth within the group. Her interactions are often associated with simple, everyday activities, such as shopping or going to a cafe, which grounds the series in slice-of-life moments. In one instance, she is shown bandaging and taking care of Miton, demonstrating her compassionate character.

Daiya does not undergo any significant character development or transformation over the course of the series, as her purpose is largely static and supportive. She functions as a consistent symbol of innocence and kindness within the world of the show. Notably, she is an original character created for the anime; she does not appear in the original manga source material, making her a unique addition to the animated version of the story.
