Description
Guerreiro Negro, also known as Son Goku Negro or Goku Black, is a primary antagonist introduced during the Future Trunks Saga of Dragon Ball Super. His true identity is that of Zamasu, a prodigious apprentice to Gowasu, the Supreme Kai of Universe 10. In an alternate timeline, this Zamasu harbored a deep-seated hatred for mortals, whom he viewed as irredeemably violent and arrogant. After witnessing the immense power of Son Goku, a mortal who could rival the gods, Zamasu's disdain grew into an obsessive plan to cleanse the universe of all mortal life.
To achieve this, Zamasu used the Super Dragon Balls to switch bodies with Goku, stealing the Saiyan's powerful physique and killing his original body with Goku's consciousness still inside it. Adopting the name Goku Black, he then traveled to a future timeline where the Supreme Kai and God of Destruction were already dead, ensuring no divine intervention could stop him. Black's primary motivation is the execution of his "Zero Mortals Plan," a twisted crusade to create a utopian universe free from what he considers the error of humanity. He is characterized by a paradoxical personality: he possesses the calm, polite demeanor and love for fighting strong opponents that he inherited from Goku's body, yet these traits are filtered through Zamasu's sadistic, arrogant, and wholly evil heart.
