Description
Touya Sagami stands as one of only fifteen humans born on the moon, now one of the last two surviving "moonchildren" after the others perished from complications linked to brain implants. Designed by the advanced AI Seven to counteract low-gravity developmental issues, these implants failed to dissolve after childhood, condemning Touya and his companion Konoha Nanase to a reduced life expectancy. Orphaned, he lives under the guardianship of his uncle, Mayor Sagami, on the commercial space station Anshin. There, he undergoes mandatory physical therapy to adapt to Earth's gravity – a process he deeply resents.

Physically, Touya appears as a Japanese boy of average height with a slim build, short dark hair, and distinctive dark blue eyes. His signature attire includes a lime green and white striped t-shirt with matching shoes; post-timeskip, he wears shirts marked "FiTsZ" and a green jacket. He constantly carries a satchel holding his personally modified drone, Darkness Killer (Dakky), altered to bypass UN-imposed intelligence limiters.

Touya's personality is marked by intense animosity towards Earthlings ("earthers"), fueled by their prejudice against space-born individuals and his own contempt for Earth's environment. He openly scorns gravity, declaring it "of use to no one," and initially voices support for extremist ideologies promoting population reduction on Earth. Exhibiting traits of "8th grade syndrome," he displays abrasiveness, stubbornness, and a fiercely self-reliant attitude, epitomized by statements like "I don't need friends. Friends just hold you back."

Technologically gifted, Touya possesses exceptional hacking skills. He uses these to override restrictions on his brain implant, manipulate station AIs, and illegally enhance Dakky's capabilities. This proficiency becomes critical during the Anshin station crisis triggered by a comet collision causing system failures.

Forced cooperation with Earth-born children – Taiyo Tsukuba, Mina Misasa, and Hiroshi Tanegashima – during the disaster catalyzes his development. Initially antagonistic towards Taiyo (a UN agent investigating his drone modifications), shared survival challenges forge mutual respect. Hiroshi's admiration and Konoha's steadfast presence gradually soften his isolationism. Confronted by the revelation that their caretaker, Nasa Houston, belongs to the terrorist group John Doe – intent on crashing a comet into Earth – Touya joins collective efforts to avert catastrophe. This includes aiding Konoha in connecting the reactivated Seven AI (Second Seven) to the internet, enabling it to understand humanity's complexities and redirect the comet harmlessly into the atmosphere.

Post-crisis, Touya relocates to Earth, symbolizing significant growth. He acknowledges his past isolationist mindset as a "cradle" he needed to escape, stating, "I had to leave my comfort zone for a place that scared me. In order to overcome what I was afraid of. I connected with them (humans), I got smarter and I understood." While retaining a critical edge, he maintains regular contact with his fellow survivors and channels his intellect into researching Anshin's incident, seeking to recover Dakky alongside Taiyo. His journey concludes as a figure bridging the divide between space-born and Earth-born humans, applying his skills toward understanding rather than rebellion.
