Victor Hugo Fernandes

Description
Victor Hugo Fernandes is a Brazilian voice actor recognized for his work in anime dubbing, particularly for protagonists and younger characters. Born on September 28, 2004, in Rio de Janeiro, he began his voice acting career at a young age and is also an actor and singer. In interviews, Fernandes has expressed that his primary goal as a dublador is to transmit "truth" in his performances, aiming to make the audience forget that the content is dubbed and believe the character is speaking their native language. He has cited the late Mario Monjardim, the voice of Shaggy in Scooby-Doo, as a major inspiration for his career.

Fernandes has garnered several significant roles in anime. He is the Brazilian Portuguese voice of Bam, the protagonist of the popular series Tower of God. His portrayal of Bam spans from the character's initial innocence in the first season to his more mature and serious demeanor in the second season, a creative challenge that Fernandes has noted allowed him to showcase a different facet of his craft. He reprises this role in the second season, where the character is also referred to as Viole. Another notable role is the young Gon Freecs in the films Hunter x Hunter: Phantom Rouge and Hunter x Hunter: The Last Mission. He also voiced Kurtz in Interviews with Monster Girls and the young Hiro in Darling in the Franxx. In Tokyo Revengers, he is credited as the voice of Mana Hirata, the child form of the character Naoto Tachibana.

Beyond anime, his voice acting portfolio is diverse, including a wide range of roles in animation and live-action series. He voiced Flecha Pêra in the film Incredibles 2 and Stanley Uris in the Brazilian dub of the horror film It. On television, he is known for being the voice of Will Byers in Stranger Things, a child Klaus Hargreeves in The Umbrella Academy, and Cj in The Casagrandes and The Loud House.
